The numbers are in, and it has been a very productive 4th Quarter for our Ecosystems Forestry Grant. We completed both Cohort 4 Workshops, adding 6 new grant participants. All 6 plus 2 Cohort 2 teachers attended both workshop days. PESI Volunteers logged in over 130 volunteer hours supporting 30 different teacher requests for help with tree lessons, presentation preparations & final student presentations. Q4 totals include; 14 teachers completing grant requirements, 461 students presenting to over 500 guests & 79 families helping students complete Home/School Tree Inventory Homework.
