PESI Volunteers Help at SPACEFEST XI
Several PESI volunteers had the pleasure of helping set up some of the exhibits for SPACEFEST XI. The event was held at the Marriott Starr Pass Hotel, July 16- 18, 2021. What a treat for Tucson area space enthusiasts! The artwork displays and memorabilia were absolutely incredible. Several Astronauts were available on Saturday to answer questions and sign autographs for participants. For more information go to http://www.spacefest.info/
PESI Volunteers Keeping Busy at SRC
PESI volunteers have been keeping busy this summer helping out at TUSD’s Science Resource Center (SRC). Volunteers helped prep science kits and materials for the Summer 2021 Science Professional Development classes. We have also been taking inventory and restocking materials for the new science kits that will be used in the 2021-22 school year. We are proud to share that our PESI Volunteers have logged in over 35 hours so far this summer!
