Partners for Equitable Science Instruction

(PESI) Quarterly Meeting

 

Please join us as Debbie Black and Esther Witt, PESI’s newly elected co-presidents, host our next quarterly PESI meeting on Wednesday, July 26th at 3:00pm at TUSD’s Science Resource Center (SRC), 1940 E Winsett. The main entrance to SRC is across the street (south) from the bus parking lot near the west side of Lee Instructional Resource Center (LIRC).

Following the meeting, we will head over to the new Borderlands Brewing Company Sam Hughes location, 2500 E. 6th St., (right across from the old Rincon Market) to celebrate the closing of a fantastic year and the opening of a new one, full of promise and new learnings. (This location/address has been changed/updated because it is much closer to SRC.

We would love to see you there!

Volunteers Needed at Science Resource Center

July is crunch time at SRC! 

The Science Resource Center needs our help to make sure all the new modules are ready for distribution to teachers by the start of the school year. 
 
Volunteers are needed whether you can come for the day or for a couple of hours; once or multiple times! Come by yourself or bring a friend or two.  
Any day, Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 3:00pm.  
 
Volunteers should email PESI   pesitucson@gmail.com so we can plan accordingly.  We will have many varied tasks for you to do! No heavy lifting required, but please wear closed-toe shoes.
